Eliana De Souza

Hey everyone! My name is Eliana and I am an online student at Deakin currently working towards a Master of Communications. Last Trimester, I undertook ALC708 which I really enjoyed so I am looking forward to learning more about digital media making and collaboration through ALC701.

I have 5 years experience in Marketing where I have worked across different industries including Medical Aesthetic, Automotive and Airline/Travel. I have recently started a new job with an appliance company which has been a fantastic learning experience.

I recently moved back to Sydney after living in Brisbane for a couple of years so it's really nice being able to spend time with my local friends and family.

When I'm not working or studying, I love to keep active at the gym (Zoom classes now that Sydney is in lockdown), take my English Staffy (named River) to the beach, eat brunch at different cafes and visit different bars around Sydney with friends. I am currently learning Portuguese so I can't wait to be able to practice this in Portugal when the international borders open up again :)

I'm looking forward to expanding my digital media making skills and knowledge through ALC701!
