Edan Lichtenstein
Mobile Phone App Developer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
When I ventured to Washington D.C. after college, I thought I had stumbled upon an impending technological revolution in politics, and wanted in. I pursued a Master’s in computer science while simultaneously working on Capitol Hill - and realized the pace of technology suited me far better than the pace of government.
After graduating from the Masters’ program, I began working as a programmer at a data analytics firm, and focused on the D.C. community, volunteering on the board of two non-profits dedicated to bridging the digital divide. After spending some time freelancing, I thought I may be able to solve more complex problems in a group, collaboratively, and it may even be more fun.
At The Flatiron School I became an iOS engineer. After creating apps, I am excited to work on a team building something bigger than I could build himself.
When I am not coding, I love spending time in the outdoors, playing kickball and fantasy baseball, and drinking coffee.
