Eli Mather

Jamaica Plain, MA

Eli grew up in a unique home connected to Boston by Commuter rail. After being raised by two artists, only New York city could offer enough excitement, education and culture for further enrichment. While studying at Columbia, Eli worked on global challenges including health, poverty, and climate. The study and practice of Art, however, proved to be most satisfying.

Professionally, Eli has contributed to the launch of many new ventures. From a high school internship at dotcom startup E-wood.com, to opening and running 3 new branch offices for the-coolest-company-you've-never-heard-of Smooth-On, and recently as a Product Manager at the recently IPOed Cloud services provider Carbonite, Eli loves and excels at figuring out and executing what needs to get done.

Eli is a forward-thinking business leader. He chose the MS-MBA program at Boston University Graduate School of Management for the managerial and strategic perspective required to best leverage technology. In 21-months Eli earned two degrees: a traditional MBA with a concentration in Marketing, and a Master of Science in Information Systems. Eli's learning, however is far from over. From Lean, to UX, to Product Management, Eli is a student of process, customer experience, prioritization and cross-functional execution.

Most of all, I enjoy human conversation.
