Eliot studied English Language & Literature at Christ Church, Oxford before training as an Actor at G.S.A.

Over 25 years he's worked extensively as an Actor, Director & Theatre Maker.

He recently played Prospero in The Tempest which he adapted & created with the Spanish company, Le Tendre Amour. The show opened the International Festival of Theatre in Malaga & has since played in France at the Théâtre de L´Oulle, Avignon and the Palace of Versailles as part of Festival Mois Moliere. It was performed at the Abbaye de Neumünster in Luxembourg as part of the British Council's Shakespeare Lives programme & at the International festival of theatre in Alaca, Madrid, the Teatro Real Coliseium Carlos III in El Escorial, the Auditori l´Atlàntida in Vic & at the Auditori Sant Cugat in Barcelona. Subsequently the show was nominated for the Gran Premio de España de Artes Escénicas 2016.

Eliot is an Associate Director of Blackeyed Theatre & directed National tours of Frankenstein, The Great Gatsby, Dracula & Not About Heroes. For Armonico Consort he directed Baroque Around the Block, Monteverdi's Flying Circus & West Side Story (Belgrade Theatre, Coventry).
