I was born in Cape Town, and have lived in Perth since 1986. I have an economics honours degree, and have spent my working life in the fashion industry. I am involved in a wide range of Jewish community activities, including filming events, research, education and arranging exhibitions. I give talks and presentations on my worldwide Jewish heritage travel and photography. I am a regular presenter at IAJGS International Jewish genealogical conferences and Limmud. My subjects cover Jewish cultural heritage, family history, the shtetl and the Holocaust. I write and manage 73 KehilaLinks - Jewish websites for JewishGen, the world’s largest Jewish genealogical organisation. These websites include towns and cities in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, Germany, Russia, China, South Africa, Mauritius and Australia. My personal website and blog called "Tangential Travel and Jewish Life" has a large following. I arrange bespoke heritage tours for small family groups. My stories have been published internationally on Virtual Shtetl, Poland and Avotaynu Online. My success stories have been featured by Geni, Jewishgen, SASIG, Shemot and others. I launched the Partisan Poem and Song Project in February this year. This has been adopted by World ORT and has had extensive international Jewish press coverage.
