Life is beautiful and indeed an amazing roller coaster!

After finishing a BA in English, a MA in African and African American Studies, and a MA in Translation and Interpretation, and having lived in the U.S. and Canada for about 4 years where I worked, studied and taught, I am back home, in Barcelona, married to an amazing Dominican man and with two beautiful daughters aged 3 and 6.

Even though I do not consider my university years over, I am currently mainly working as a secondary school teacher. I love teaching English and I love working with adolescents. This I find most rewarding! I use different teaching techniches, including cooperative learning, task-based approach, and communicative approach.

I love reading, specially good empowering down-to-earth chick lit, I love country life and mountains, and I love latin jazz and salsa music! And, of course, I love dancing it!

I know I still have a long way to go! I try to learn something new every day. Life and kids are, no doubt, the best teachers!
