Elisabeth de Kleer

Elisabeth de Kleer is an award winning documentary producer with expertise in interviewing and crafting narratives. Her stories cover a wide range of topics -- from amusement park rides to death-row inmates. In the process of developing and producing content for Discovery Channel, Elisabeth has interviewed dozens of inmates, law enforcement officers, and victims at penitentiaries and police stations across the country. In addition to conducting interviews, Elisabeth plays a principal creative role in many aspects of the production process -- from directing field shoots to writing scripts and story editing. She believes in the power of storytelling to bridge social gaps and to cultivate empathy.
