Elisa Piscitelli

I make a living (and enjoy) producing various forms of advertising, including television commercials, web banners and other interactive web ads, for a major media company with an additional background in paralegal work. I am the grateful mom to two healthy, amazing and quirky kids that continuously challenge me in ways that no other aspect of life has the ability to do. Tony is my opposites attract, partner in crime. We've been together for over a decade and he continues to support my ambitions while maintaining that laid back quaility that I strive to call my own. I am currently enrolled in a Yoga Alliance Certified 200 hr. Yoga Teacher Training Program set to begin in March of 2012. The inspiration to develop and further my yoga practice was inspired by great friends and a life changing exposure to meditation. I spent some years practicing meditation at a Chan Buddhist Retreat Center in upstate NY by attending weekly sitting groups, retreats and a weekend-long time keeper training which was taught by the resident Buddhist monks. The desire to maintain a meditation practice came from a lifetime of always wanting more, always wanting perfect and always complaining when everything fell short. These days I am more content and less connected to emotions and expectations. The intensity is still there and dissapointment waits at every corner, but the intensity softens from time to time and I don't let dissapointment rule my world.
