Elisa Stewart

Elisa J. Stewart, partner at Stewart & Musell, LLP, is a San Francisco employment attorney. Her career began in 1999 when she spent time representing defendants in Brockton, MA. Four years later, she appeared before the U.S. Supreme Court in Stogner v. California in a case that questioned the power of the state to bring criminal cases long after the statute of limitations. Following her victory in that case, she began private practice with a new firm in San Francisco. In 2006, she opened another office in New Jersey and joined forces with Attorney Wendy Musell. Together, they represent clients in a wide variety of cases, such as discrimination, retaliation, and more. They also handle cannabis business law cases.
