Elise won her first bodybuilding competition in 1993, placing first in all areas!!! Best poser, most symmetrical and over all winner!! Elise has been in commercials, some films and print advertisements. Her first ever competition was a beauty contest in which she came in second place. After she made the switch into bodybuilding, Elise continued to compete in fitness, modeling, and figure shows. Elise’s last competition in which she participated was in the New Jersey Amateur Show in 2009. She won that show with the aspiration to continue to turn pro but after a severe back injury and subsequent surgery due to a very bad fall her career was cut short.

Elise Prucha was born in Bayside, Queens and was the third of her parents’s four children. Elise has two older brothers and had a younger sister, who tragically passed away some years ago. Having been a “chubby” kid in her formative years, Elise, at the age of 14, experienced a 6-inch growth spurt, losing weight and thus spurring her desire to get into the gym and start getting in to proper shape. Elise credits her brothers as having fully introduced her to weight training; when she first started training, her two older brothers bought her a workout bench and weight set so she could work out at home, since she was too young to join a gym on her own. Elise grew up an athlete and played all sorts of sports when she was younger. Elise was a talented swimmer and diver, and played little-league baseball when she was young. In high school, Elise played varsity tennis for Martin Van Buren High School.

After graduating high school, Elise decided against going to college to join the garment center where here father also owned a big textile company. Having an interest in fashion and modeling, Elise decided to work on her experience in the field instead of formal education. Elise started her career modeling clothes and doing administrative work in the office. While working, Elise took classes part-time at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) so as to further familiarize herself with the fashion industry. However, after a great deal of thought, Elise determined that the fashion industry was not where she wanted to be, and went with her passion for fitness. While pursuing her career in fitness modeling, Elise worked in several positions, as an aerobics instructor, personal trainer, and even at one point as an EMT.

Elise has competed in many competions always doing quite well and winning
