Elise Watkins is a senior Public Relations major at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, and looks forward to graduating in May 2016. Currently, she serves as an account executive for Union's student-run PR firm, Bulldog Communication Group, and she works part-time for local State Farm agent Wes Harris.

She served as a human resources intern at the Thomas Jefferson Foundation in Monticello, Virginia, for the summer of 2015. In the spring of 2016, Elise coordinated Finding You at the U, an annual event for Union University students that addresses the personal issues many college students face.

One day she hopes to share her passion for organizational communication with others so they can better enjoy their professional relationships and work environments, which she believes will ultimately lead to increased productivity in the workplace.

She has called Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Virginia, and Tennessee home. After graduation (and wedding), she plans to move to Louisville, Kentucky, with her husband. She loves the South and can't imagine living anywhere else.

Narrative has always captured her imagination. In her spare time, you'll likely find her engrossed in a book or going to the movies. Elise also enjoys exploring local restaurants, especially when they serve seafood.
