Back my campaign

Hey there, I’m Elissa. I’m a student living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I am doing this call to action assignment to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS prevention and treatment for all. This topic is one of the main issues the UN is trying to sustain under good health and well-being for all.

What is HIV?

HIV is a virus that infects the body while attacking the immune system. While AIDS is when someone's immune system is damaged so bad that they are said to have AIDS.

You may be asking yourself, what can I do to prevent HIV and AIDS?

Try to use condoms in your sex life, please make sure that needles you use are clean and sanitize. The last thing would regularly be getting tested for HIV will help you and the people you interact with. This will also help in a situation where you are pregnant. Please go and check out the links below for more information.

Well, you are in lock, by clicking on my back my campaign banner, you will find Avert > a website about the global information and education of HIV and AIDS. Avert > gives detail about transmission, prevention, test and living with HIV and so more. My call to action is not only to prevent but also to educate you on the importance of good health and well-being.

Please talk to your doctor if you have any more questions.
