Elizabeth Rivera

Hello Everyone! My name is Elizabeth Rivera and I am a senior at FIU. This is my last semester and I am so excited! I have been taking online classes for the last several years and I am finally graduating with a bachelor's degree in Public Administration. My expectations from this course are to learn as much as possible and apply to my career. I hope to have a supervisory/management position with a government agency within the next five years.

I work at a local municipality in the human resource department. It's usually quite busy in my office. I have three wonderful children (7, 14,and 20). They keep me very busy with their football activites. I love attending their football games and watching football on tv. Finishing college was very important to me for several reasons. I wanted to further my education to help advance my career, to prove to myself that I could accomplish this goal and most of all I wanted my children to understand how important it is to go to college.

I am originally from New York and I moved to Florida my last year of high school. I love the hot weather and I can't say that I miss the cold weather at all! Some of my favorite sites are youtube and msn. Thanks for taking the time to read about me!
