Ever since I was little I loved to throw parties. I would sneak out of my room to quietly decorate the house for my parent's birthday every year, just so I could surprise them with their own party to wake up to. Once I got to college I realized hosting and planning events was what I was interested in, so I majored (and graduated!) in Public Relations at Western Washington University. But it wasn't until our wedding did I know that event planning was what I wanted to do as a career. I was an organizational powerhouse with post-it notes as my main compardre. Though there were some sleepless nights re-calculating in my head the number of linens I needed to rent and who had and hadn't RSVP'd yet, I loved the entire process from the proposal (of course!) to the honeymoon. Since become a newlywed I have turned my love of party planning up a notch hosting all different parties such as bachelorette, birthdays, Halloween, Thanksgiving, wine and beer tastings, Christmas and much, much more.
