-Headline: Recent college graduate, extremely hard worker, valuable asset to a team, strong written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented, eager to learn, excited to be part of something bigger than myself and contribute to making communities safer.
-Personal Mission Statement: I have always believed that police work is on of the most essential components of society; without it the world would be chaotic and all order would be lost. I feel that law enforcement falls right in line with my values and beliefs because it maintains structure within our daily lives. I've always valued fairness and treating all people and situations equally when the surrounding circumstances are the same. This is a key aspect that draws me toward law enforcement because officers need to evaluate all instances of a crime in a uniform way from one occurrence to the next when evidence is the same, regardless of extenuating circumstances.
-Career Statement: In the near future, I hope to find a job within the law enforcement field. Ideally, this would be as an entry-level police officer, but anything related would be a good stepping stone. As for the agency, this could either be at the municipal or state level. In the long-term, I would like to work my way up the ranks as much as possible.
-Accomplishments and Work Experience: My past work experience consists of being an assistant instructor at a tennis camp for two summers and working as a sales associate at the UMass Amherst school store for one summer. In addition to my previous work experience, I have also been a very dedicated student. Through my college career, I have been elected to the Dean's List every semester, inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi honor society during my Junior year, and inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society during my Senior year. Collectively, I believe that my academic accomplishments and past work experiences will provide me with a good foundation to build upon while pursuing a career in law enforcement.
