I am a Christ Follower. As a child I realized I was a sinner in need of Jesus blood sacrifice. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior and received eternal life, becoming a Christian when I was 7 years old.
I am a mission minded expat. Currently, I am teaching in the English, Theology and International Business departments at Kyungsung university in South Korea. In 2013 I finished my Masters in Intercultural Studies and Missiology (missions) from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.
I am a fantasy writer. My first book, Darkness Rising, is in editing stage with Hamilton Springs Press.
I am a musician. I have played the piano since I was six years old, and have studied operatic music performance. Other than playing the piano and singing I also play auxiliary percussion (mainly djembe.)
I am a linguist. My undergraduate degree is in Spanish, and many years of my life have been spent learning the language and cultural aspects of the Spanish speaking world. Currently I am learning Korean. I studied ancient Hebrew and Greek in seminary. I have had conversations in 9 modern languages and translated from 4 ancient languages as well. I love linguistics and languages, and enjoy pursing a deeper understanding of all forms of communication.
I love to cook and invent new recipes. I also enjoy ballroom dancing, jogging, fencing and martial arts.
My life has been an amazing adventure so far, I look into a horizon that is glowing with the expectation as I walk with Jesus and pursue a life that glorifies Him.
