I'm Elizabeth Coleman, and I'm an attorney who specializes in business litigation, intellectual property law, and also dabbles in freelance writing. I've learned people like numbers when they are trying to assess the value of a person. So here are my numbers:

27: My age. Don't let this fool you. I'm an old soul, and wiser than I look.

8: The number of years I've worked in law.

2010: The year that I passed the bar.

One thing I've noticed about attorneys is that they are afraid to be real people on the internet. Just because you practice law doesn't mean you cease to have a life. I would hope that attorneys, who are serving the needs of their clients, have a pulse on the world, and know what is relevant and useful for their clients.
