Elizabeth Amos

Elizabeth Amos is a recent University of Washington graduate. She is a native Bay Area resident currently living in Seattle.

She currently works at the NBC Seattle affiliated news station, King 5 as a teleprompter operator. She works alongside anchors, reporters, producers, directors, and assignment desk editors to create six evening newscasts every night. She also currently works as a Promotions Assistant at CBS Radio Seattle.

During her senior year, Elizabeth had the opportunity to work as a social media and recruiting intern at the University of Washington Athletic Department. She loved being a media intern with her school's athletic department because it had given her great insight into the sports industry and the creative production aspects needed within sports, recruiting and promotional operations.

Last spring, she broadened her horizons by studying abroad in Dublin, Ireland. She challenged herself mentally and culturally by taking both communications and law classes as well as exploring many other countries.

She aspires to be a television news producer, working behind-the-scenes of a major television news broadcasting company.

In her spare time, she is a major coffee addict and a lover of books. She enjoys spending time seeking new outdoors adventures and travelling.
