G Elizabeth (Beth) Evans

A Little About ME:

My name is Grace Elizabeth Evans, or Beth as my family and friends refer to me. I am married, a Mother of five and Nana to six of the most wonderful grandchildren in the world. My husband David and I have been married for eleven years. I have two adult sons. The older lives here in Alabama and the younger is in the Army and currently lives in Germany with my sweet daughter in law and three beautiful granddaughters. The oldest is 5 and the twins are 2. I also have three more children given to me through grace. Two beautiful daughters, the mothers to my other grandchildren; my oldest grandson, who is 10 and his sister 5; and their cousin, and my younger grandson who is 4. The family is rounded out with one more son who is the baby of the family.

I have been living with a lung disease called Cystic Fibrosis from the time of my diagnosis at the age of 18 months. Forty six years ago when I was diagnosed with CF, the prognosis was not good at all. Most with CF did not live longer than ten years. When the doctors gave my parents the news about diagnosis they prepared them for the worst and in my case they did not expect me to live to see my third birthday. God had definite plans for my life (Jer. 29:11) and His plans were for me to live a long and purpose filled life.

The love for my husband and family is second only to my love for My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I also have a passion for writing and for missions. If it had not been for health issues in my life I really feel that I would have been a foreign missionary.
