Elizabeth "Libby" Endry, from her early days in Pensacola, Florida, where she was born on April 2, 1981, grew up to be the founder of The Gardener's Cottage, an enchanting home and garden boutique in Gulf Breeze, FL, and Asheville, NC. Her establishments are bastions of creativity and elegance, where patrons are surrounded by an expertly curated selection of home and garden decor that reflects her deep reverence for nature and design.

Elizabeth's fascination with the botanical world was sparked during her childhood visits to her great-grandparents' home in Lillian, Alabama. There, her great-grandmother, a passionate gardener, imparted the fundamentals of floral artistry to her, instilling a love for the craft that would define her career path.

Armed with a merchandising degree from Florida State University, Elizabeth initially ventured to New York to complete an internship, gaining invaluable experience. However, her career trajectory took a definitive turn when she moved to Asheville in 2004 to join her sister at The Gardener's Cottage, ultimately taking over the business.

Under her stewardship, The Gardener's Cottage in Asheville's Historic Biltmore Village has become renowned for its distinctive inventory, which features rare plant varieties and unique vintage items. Elizabeth's expertise in creating sophisticated orchid displays for upscale hotels, such as the Grand Bohemian Hotel, has solidified her reputation as a connoisseur of acceptable botanical arrangements.

When the pandemic struck, Libby responded ingeniously, designing custom floral arrangements for delivery to customers' homes. Thus, she continued to spread beauty and positivity during challenging times. This initiative sustained her business and reinforced her connection with the community.
