I am seeking a position at an institution in New York where I can establish a solid foundation for my professional career. I have a variety of professional experience ranging from customer service to office work to IT. To this experience, I also bring a strong educational background having completed many different assignments that replicate valuable real world projects and allowed me to develop in-demand skills.

My undergraduate experience in English and Philosophy has given me a healthy respect for communication and the abstract, critical thinking skills a liberal arts education imparts. I have also long enjoyed studying things of a more scientific area resulting in many of my assignments in graduate school being centered around space exploration. As a student my days would often find me poking around the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum and at night curled up with a classic. Before beginning my MSLIS program I continued to expand my education by attending the local community college where I studied an assortment of different subjects including geology, web design, and political science. This combination of education and personal curiosity make me an ideal candidate for a variety of positions in an academic or public library.
