I am a Professor of Women's and Gender Studies at Eastern Washington University. I have been teaching here since 1993, when I finished my Ph.D. at University of Illinois with an academic specialty in feminist cultural studies. I study women’s health, bodies, and feminism, and especially how these issues are represented in media.
