Elizabeth Lavenza

My name is Elizabeth Lavenza, and I was born to an Italian father and a German mother who died giving birth to me. I was adopted by the Frankenstein's and called them aunt and uncle, and called their son, Victor, cousin. I grew with Victor, and we were very close. I got scarlet fever, and became very sick. Aunt Caroline took care of me, but sadly she caught it too and died. Her dying wish was that I would marry Victor and take care of her children. I made sure her children were kept safe. I gave her son William a necklace. Later that evening, William was nowhere to be found, but was later discovered to be dead. Everyone believed that Justine killed him, but I could not bring myself to believe that. Sadly, hidden in her jacket was the necklace I had given William before he left the house, and that made me realize that she was the culprit. After Justine was found guilty of William's murder, Victor changed. He was not the cheerful boy I grew up with, but a completely different person. "I will go, although she is guilty; and you, Victor, shall accompany me; I cannot go alone" (p.68, Frankenstein). I really wanted Victor to stay with me so we could become man and wife. We eventually got married, but our marriage ended abruptly when the monster Frankenstein killed me. Love Story by Taylor Swift describes my life, because even though I wanted to marry Victor I had to wait for him to be ready.
