I have been an agency recruiter in the Oil and Gas industry for the last 8 years. I will be AIRS certified in the next few weeks and enjoy creating new Boolean strings. Performance based hiring is fantastic and the way to go with recruiting, IMHO.

Prior to that I worked for Duraflame (the log company) as a PeopleSoft programmer. I learned quite a bit about business and as I wrote ad-hoc reports for executives to enable them to make business decisions. Before joining Duraflame, I worked for Candle Corporation (bought by IBM) supporting the Finance department as a PeopleSoft programmer and won an award for Outstanding Customer Service. My preceeding role was as PeopleSoft programmer/Business Analyst with Perot Systems (bought by Dell) supporting Finance and Human Resources. There I won an award for best fresh-out trainee. I beat out 150 applicants to become a Marketing Intern at Compaq Computer and there I wrote white papers, landscape documents, and market research reports.

I am adaptable, tenacious, outgoing, fun, engaging, and I love solving business challenges. I enjoy training users/customers and business process reorganization. I volunteer for my children's school and enjoy hiking, biking, reading, and learning about technology. My son is a Cub Scout and I really love to go camping (with electricity, running water, and a French press of course).
