Elizabeth Power

Consultant, Writer, and Teacher in the United States

When you hear me speak, there's no doubt that I am from the South. I've been a Nashvillian since the 70's, and I claim the hills of North Carolina as my roots. That said, I am a citizen of the cosmos.

I'm a writer, a poet, an educator, a speaker, a gardener and above deeply devoted to the sacred. My work is to promote transformation and healing at the organizational and individual level wherever I go, and wherever I am invited to be.

You might find me teaching Risking Connection, a model for trauma-informed thinking, or helping people consider different ways of thinking about self-injury or the role of constructed rituals, indigenous thinking and practices, and gardening in the service of healing. On other days, you might find me working in IT, using the science of Instructional Systems Design to craft learning programs.
