My introduction into the world of lay ministry began, as does for many, as a catechist of the faith for my children. Over the years, I have felt the call to give my "time and talents" to other parish ministries. Currently, I lead the Children's Liturgy of the Word, facilitate for the Child Abuse Protection program (VIRTUS), coordinate the altar servers, serve as a catechist, and as a Eucharistic minister for mass and the nursing homes. I can honestly say that each of these ministries has been a blessing in my life! Therefore this time at Loyola is a time of discernment for me to look toward where God is calling me to use my degree. As the daughter and granddaughter of educators I come by the passion to inspire the love of learning naturally. Likewise, due to the fluid nature of ministry, I am always looking for ways to meet and reach others where they are at…which is often in activities, retreats, and settings outside the classroom. Thank you for joining me in this journey-
Peace and Blessings,
Elizabeth
