Elizabeth Rodriguez Fielder

I'm a scholar of twentieth-century cultural activism with a focus on ethnicity and gender from the 1960s-today. I examine artists in need of more critical attention and show ways in which they paralleled their visions for social change with innovations in cultural aesthetics and forms. Other research and teaching interests include southern studies, performance studies, multi-ethnic literature of the U.S., Faulkner, and gender studies.

Through Seminar Space, I can compile material that I use in the classroom and in my research in a mode that is easy to access for students and those interested in my pedagogy.
