In the professional sense...
I graduted from Gettysburg College with a degree in English with a Writing Concentration. My sub-concentration (if such a thing exists) was fiction and non-fiction writing.
I was accepted to American University to persue a Masters in Fiction writing. However, I decided to persue a professional writing career immediately, and to return to a Masters program later on, once my career has been established.
Before graduating, I worked for my hometown newspaper, the "Shelter Island Reporter" for two summers. While there, I was a Sports Reporter; both summers, my column focused on the local yacht club's junior sailing program and adult one-design weekend regattas.
I now work at the New York Post as an editorial clerk in the News deparment.
In the non-professional sense, I enjoy sailing, performing as a classical musician (flute and voice), and writing fiction pieces.
