Elizabeth Weil is the founder and Managing Director of Scribble Ventures, a $50M seed fund. She's a technology investor, operating executive, startup advisor, and entrepreneur. Elizabeth is on the board of Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, a Venture Advisor to LEGO, and is also an advisor to notable technology companies at a variety of stages. Elizabeth recently spent four years as a Managing Director at 137 Ventures focused on late stage secondary opportunities. Previously she was a Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, and a senior executive at Twitter during the time it scaled from 50 to 3000 people. Elizabeth has invested in more than 40 companies across all stages, including Slack, Whatnot, Coinbase, Envoy, Branch Metrics, Birdeye, Brightwheel, Digits, and SpaceX.
Elizabeth graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Economics and a Masters in Engineering. In the years since, she has taught classes at Stanford in both the engineering department and the d.school. She spent six years on the board of the Ad Council and the Northern Sierra Partnership. In her free time, she is a competitive ultramarathon runner and triathlete as well as a letterpress printer.
