One thing most people don't know about me is that I have a very keen and sharp memory. More specifically, I can remember anything that happened within the past year and tell you the exact date on which the event happened. I think this is a bizarre talent of mine, but I seem to always impress my friends with this. They are amazed by the fact that I can remember such specific dates that seem so obscure to them.

I think that this "talent"/skill that I possess gives insight to my personality and the person I am. I am a quiet and observant person. I like to take in and silently process information rather than vocally expressing my thoughts. I think more than I talk. For me, it takes effort and confidence for me to speak up at times. Because I am quiet and more reflective, I am sometimes overlooked. However, starting college this fall has challenged this aspect of my personality. Going through Rush in the fall forced me out of my comfort zone and out of my shell.

Although I want to stay true to myself and the person I am, I want to learn to have confidence in myself and speak up.
