Emily Johnson

I am always on the move, whether it is playing two collegiate sports, managing class for dual degrees, running student organizations, being active, or hanging with my friends. Every day is an adventure in my life. I have a passion for digital technology which has led me to be a Digital Communications major. I am inspired to tell stories to others through different forms of media, and platform mediums. Digital Communications has taught me this through design, communications, programming, user experience, videography, and business technology.

I also have a strong passion to travel the world. I want to interact with all different kinds of societies, learn about different cultures, and explore places I never even knew existed. It is important to me to become an active global citizen and promote my beliefs of education, fair-trade, clean water, and environmentally friendly issues to all. I want to help make a difference in places that need help. This has brought me to my other major, Global Studies.

While I do have time to relax, I am most likely sitting by a burning candle, drinking hot tea while watching Harry Potter, Gossip Girl, or the Vampire Diaries. I can never get sick of eating sushi, peaches, mangos, and drinking apple cider. I always have at least one apple product on me, out of my selection of my iPhone, iPad, or Mac. My cat, Luna is the best cuddler. I’m a Leo, who feels the best traits in a person are being brave and having courage.
