Gwendolyn Elledge

My name is Gwen Elledge, and I am an 18 year old art and science student at Deerfield High School (DHS). I've been drawing ever since I can remember, though I have never taken a formal drawing class until high school; I've always drawn for me. Science is a huge passion of mine, and I've done very well in all three core science classes. Currently, I'm enrolled in my second year of AP Art as well as Adv. Computer Science: Data Structures and Algorithms Honors. Additionally, I'm taking AP Calculus AB, Criminalistics, and Honors Astronomy. My goal is to pursue a successful scientific career in the future as well as a career in art, as these are both subjects I'm extremely passionate about. My hobbies include dancing, reading, and playing the guitar. I'm also involved in DHS's Women in STEM Club, and I'm the co-president of Spectrum, a LGBTQ+ and Straight Alliance at DHS.
