Ellen DuBois

Ellen DuBois is from Massachusetts and is the author of I Never Held You, a book about miscarriage, grief, healing and recovery, (available at Amazon.com and other book retailers). She has also been the host of MiscarriageHelp.com since 2006, supporting women and their families who have suffered the pain and isolation miscarriage leaves in its wake.

Additionally, Ms. DuBois is a contributing author to over a half dozen books and her poetry has been published by Blue Mountain Arts, (I Whispered A Prayer or Two), as a greeting card and appears on various gift items.

Ellen is also a piano instructor to over thirty young students, was a lead singer with a GB band, (General Business), for three years, and enjoys music both professionally and personally.

You can find Ms. DuBois involved in several creative projects online, including her hand made Hope Angel Bracelets, now available on etsy. She designs each bracelet herself. Hope Angel Bracelets are made with genuine Swarovski crystal and Tibetan silver, inspirational charms.

I felt so alone after my own miscarriage, and many years later, here I am. I believe those who have come through any adverse situation can turn it into something positive to help others. I don't think it's something you have to do. But, if you feel it in your gut to help, I say follow your gut. For some reason this is part of my life's path. I wouldn't want to live through it again, but the fact is I did live through it. That's the only way I can possibly relate to what these women are going through.
