Hello everyone! My name is Ellen Harley and I am currently a junior at Kansas State University studying Family Studies and Human Services with a minor in Nonprofit Leadership Studies. I have a great passion for serving others, a desire to learn, and a big hunger for adventure. I love to travel, play with all kinds of animals, and share my faith and passions with others. I love helping others in anyway I can and can do that so well through my job at the Academic and Career Information Center. ACIC has helped me in many ways, especially when I was going through the process of deciding on my own major. I switched 3 times but once I found Family Studies through ACIC, I knew it was the right major for me. This office and the people I work with every day enable, empower, and encourage me to always strive to be my best, humbly serve and love those around me, and to fiercely chase my dreams in life. For the future, I would love to go into College Student Ministry as a career. I absolutely love working with college students as I think there is so much growth and excitement to be had in those years and I would be absolutely honored to dedicate my life to showing others the unconditional love that Christ has for them. I would encourage anyone who is not exactly sure what their next step is in life to come down to ACIC and allow us to help you through that process.
