After moving to the Greater Boston area in the 1980’s, I discovered my passion of helping people with intellectual disabilities. I am a conscientious, responsible and ethical professional who likes to offer guidance to people of all ages and backgrounds. I have particular expertise with: Case management Building support teams. Dedication to helping clients solve problems. Using social media. Multi-tasking and managing projects within budget. Interviewing techniques. Strong communication and listening skills. Socially engaging people in the spirit of fostering open communication and cooperation. Individualized attention. Power Point and Excell Skills. I graduated from Salem State University with a strong desire to use my education and vocational experiences to gain knowledge in an area that will allow me to assist others. Using my counseling expertise with clients suffering from developmental disabilities is my main goal. I believe that I am ready to have a positive impact in either a private or public service setting and will seek to continue to help people overcome obstacles which prevent them from becoming productive, thriving and happy citizens.
