Nancy Ellen Earhart
North Carolina
Born in Pratt, KS, grew up in and around Winslow, AZ. Left for college in 1980 in Phx, AZ - Grand Canyon University. Graduated 1984 with B.S. Elem Education. Married 1985, first child born 1986. We moved to MI, had second child in 1988.
Didn't get to teach until I left ex-husband, became substitute, then moved to NC to escape stalkings and give us a new life. Finally got back into teaching in 2004, and still teach.
I remarried to love of my life. He has a son, who is soon to marry, with two delightful grandchildren. My daughter, age 27 married, lives in KS. French teacher. My son, age 25, married, with new grandson lives here in NC.
I enjoy teaching, as well as art and other hobbies. I just love creating. I like the idea of "living outside the box," and try to keep myself open-minded and flexible-thinking.
As a Christian, that might sound like an oxymoron, but actually, I think it's the opposite. Jesus was both, and instead of turning away people who were hurting and living unclean lifestyles, he drew them to Him. I think there's something wrong with ANY religion that does the opposite. We cannot judge what we cannot love. And we need to learn forgiveness and grace before we talk to people about who Jesus is.
That's what I think, anyway.
