Ellen Fitton

I am an audio engineer with over 25 years of experience. I have done extensive engineering of everything from rock bands to live operas. Collaborating with new, as well as established artists. I have traveled through out the US doing live orchestral recording, in addition to working on several music broadcast projects for television. As a veteran of the music business, I am adept at working to provide all my clients with the level of comfort and professionalism they demand. As technology is constantly changing, I am continually assessing not only the latest equipment, but also how to apply it to the individual set of circumstances that are presented to me. It is this ability to adapt the technology to the clients needs, that has allowed me to succeed in such a wide range of engineering positions.

Specialties

* Expert knowledge of Soundblade, Protools and other DAWs, and non-linear editing techniques.
* Skilled with microphone techniques, analog and digital mixing consoles and outboard gear.
* I am also a classically trained musician and can read music as well as orchestral scores.
* Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Filemaker on both MAC and PC
