Ellern Mede

The service began in 2000 as an acute inpatient eating disorder centre, in a location in Totteridge. This was sited in a listed building in a rural location known as Ellern Mede. Keeping the name, the service moved in 2011 to its current location in Ridgeway, Holcombe Hill, Mill Hill, London. It expanded at that stage to care for more patients. Since then, the service has opened another inpatient hospital in Barnet, and is soon to open another in Yorkshire.
