Ellie Ganzerla

A longtime resident of coastal California, Ellie Ganzerla’s love of the ocean and surfing led to the completion of her surf instructor certificate. Using her knowledge and experience, Ellie Ganzerla trains students on how to choose a good surfing location, how to select equipment, rules of the water, and important safety protocols. In this manner, she ensures that her students have enjoyable and safe experiences. Ellie Ganzerla coordinated and participated in a variety of social events and organizations while in high school. For example, she organized a number of dance and cheerleading clinics and was active on the varsity cheer and dance squads. In addition, Ellie Ganzerla participated in a number of charitable and community-building activities with groups such as Best Buddies International and the Peer Assistance Leadership Program (PAL). Furthermore, she possesses certification to support emergency service professionals as a member of Trauma Intervention Programs, Inc., (TIP). Today, Ellie Ganzerla dedicates the majority of her free time to her undergraduate coursework in sociology, and she hopes to use her education and diverse volunteer experience to aid children and teens. Her ultimate career goal is to build a non-profit rehabilitation center that incorporates the arts for emotional healing. She continues her enthusiasm for dance in many forms, including ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop. She also stays fit and healthy by practicing yoga and surfing.
