Elliot Ruiz

I'm a passionate software engineer with 3+ years of experience, born in the Dominican Republic, and currently living in Canada as an international student at Centennial College in the Software Engineering Technology (Fast-Track) program. I obtained my software engineering bachelor Degree at Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) in the Dominican Republic in 2021.

I've had the opportunity to develop desktop and mobile applications in my early days as a professional using Xamarin.Forms with .Net for 7 months, and after that I continued to grow as a professional and started working as a web developer using .net (.net core 3, .net 6) and Node.js as back-end. Furthermore, I’ve also worked with vue.js and react.js depending on the clients requirements at the time. Above all, I’m more confortable working with react.js and node.js. I consider myself as a hard working team player, who would work as hard as possible to complete the task at hand, and won’t see lack of knowledge as an obstacle, for I am eager to learn and ready to face any challenges, such as working with new frameworks and technologies needed to complete a task when is assign to me.
