Elliott Martin

Hey! My Name is Elliott and I am a composer, producer and sound designer studying Creative Music Technology as a third year at Surrey.

I release music under the moniker ‘Thorjn’ and have been actively composing and producing electronic music since 2018. I am interested in building worlds, especially within the audio-visual realm. Being a strong advocate for nostalgia, psychedelia/ hypnotica and surrealism, I strive towards idiosyncratic ways of working and thinking about creative projects. I have many years of experience in collaborating with musicians, visual artists and filmmakers alike.

I released my debut EP ‘Tales of The Canary Cage’ in 2022, which explores a hyper-real take on a natural sound palette, utilising elements of Glitch/IDM and Ambient and music concreté. Furthermore, my debut full length LP is set to release in 2024 with a further sophomore album in progress.

In parallel to my solo project, I am a keen composer and sound designer for visual media; having worked on the sound and score for several independent films and indie game projects. Visual art is just as fascinating to me and I am eager to work alongside and learn from other artists.
