Elliot Zayas

Elliot Zayas has a strong background in the IT industry. He currently holds his CompTIA Network+ Certification, and is working on his MCSA Server 2016 certification. From there he will pursue a cloud based certification like Azure or AWS. Elliot knew the IT field was what he wanted to do after exploring a few jobs across many different industries. Elliot has strong management experience, as well as strong customer service experience. When Elliot Zayas isn't working on computers, he enjoys hiking, the outdoors, and cooking. Elliot Zayas will continue to learn new technologies, and maybe start his own IT firm one day. Some of the biggest challenges are how fast technology moves in the space, and keeping up with security threats. Learning in IT is never ending, and Elliot is completely up to the challenge! He looks forward to growing his knowledge in the space, and receiving more certifications in the field.

He is originally from Staten Island, NY. He moved around New York until the family settled in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania. Elliot learned how to work on computers at a very young age with the inspiration coming from his dad. His first computer was a 486dx266 running DOS. Growing up, Elliot lived a majority of his life in Pennsylvania. He made many childhood friends in PA, and eventually attended high school at Bucks County Technical High School, where they also taught vocational trades. Elliot enjoyed high school while attending honors classes in science and math. He also worked a full time job while attending high school during his junior and senior years. Elliot graduated with a diploma and certificate in machine technology, while also receiving an award for proficiency in writing from the state of Pennsylvania.

Elliot's entire family eventually relocated south to North Carolina. There he got a job learning how to rebuild pianos, which is a highly skilled trade. After working at a piano shop for many years and eventually becoming the shop manager, an opportunity with an engineering firm arose. This was a chance to travel all over the country while working on cellular towers doing non-destructive testing.
