My top 5 StrengthsQuest Strengths are: Empathy, Restorative, Discipline, Consistency, and Strategic. I am not surprised that Empathy is my #1 strength because I have always been compassionate and empathetic towards those around me. I always enjoy talking, and even more, listening to others and their problems or stories. I try to listen to their stories and understand their feelings. I feel like I am the type of friend who someone can come to with any problem and I will understand and try to help. Because of this, I am happy with having empathy as my #1 strength.

My favorite Ohio State tradition is the O-H-I-O group photo. This tradition is where you get a group of four people, or four objects, and have each one of the four spell out O-H-I-O for a photo. This tradition first surfaced in 1936 when cheerleaders in the Ohio Stadium took the first O-H-I-O photo. They spelled out O-H-I-O a little differently than people do today, using multiple people to spell out each letter. Coming to Ohio State from California, I wasn't familiar with many of OSU’s traditions, but when I learned about this one I found it to be very fun. This tradition is important to me because I feel like it helps pull students and alumni together because it is a timeless tradition. The first photo of me doing O-H-I-O was during Launch Week with my scholars group back in August. It was my first time ever doing O-H-I-O, and will always be a special picture to me. In the future I hope to take many O-H-I-O photos around the globe during my travels in life.

Most of my scores for my Wellness Assessment were high—all of them exceeding a 3.50. My highest average was a 5 in the spiritual dimension, where Ohio State’s average was only a 3.8. I’m not surprised that this was my highest category because I have always had an introspective, calm mindset towards life. I am not a competitive person who seeks conflict, but instead I seek harmony like the description implies. I believe it is important to have a good spiritual life, even if you don't have a religion, because wanting a purpose and meaning in life is important to have. My other top dimensions were environmental and intellectual, both at a 4.44. My lowest category was financial, but that is because I do not work right now and I am not providing for myself entirely yet. With more experience working with my finances, I will be able to score higher in this category in the future. Overall the test was accurate of my wellness.
