Hi, I’m Elma.

I have been a Ph.D. student at the Section for Science of Complex Systems at the Medical University of Vienna and a resident scientist at the Complexity Science Hub Vienna since January 2019.

I’m a Masters of Science (MSc) in Electrical Engineering. I am a passionate traveler, book lover, and coffeeholic.

I love technology. I am a co-founder of the venture-funded IoT startup BeeAnd.me, which brings technology to beekeepers and helps bees with data science.

I am really excited about the possibilities which Data science offers. My research interests include machine learning, network science and everything impactful related to data science. Currently, I am working with medical data and comorbidity networks.

As a dreamer who will never grow up, I just want to be good and happy human :)

I still believe that we have enough goods on this nice planet to beat poverty.
