Elmarie Hyman

After earning her Accounting degree, Elmarie worked as an accountant and auditor until the birth of her first child. She then became a full-time mom and part-time bookkeeper. In the subsequent years, she discovered the joys of homeschooling. A homeschool mom of 4 kids ranging from 3rd grade to high school (attending college classes), Elmarie has 12+ years of experience in homeschooling, teaching her own kids and homeschool group classes. She has used different homeschool philosophies & curriculum, been part of homeschool support and co-op groups, teaching classes and organizing fieldtrips. She also has set up several co-op groups and handled the scheduling of the co-op in addition to teaching. She also writes for examiner.com, tutors and does homeschool coaching. Lately she has been developing curriculum and teaching entrepreneur workshops as well. Her favorite thing in the world is hanging out with her family and friends on the beach.
