I'm Elody HOU -- "'Melody'" without an 'M'." That is usually how I introduce my name. Actually I'm a postgraduate from mainland China and am now studying MA in International Journalism in Hong Kong Baptist University. It is my first time to come to Hong Kong, pursuing my own dream.

Although graduating from a scientific major, I have more interest in content than medium. Ask my friends about my pet phrase, they'll give the answer: "WHY". I am always a curious person. Long before I even knew how to pronounce the word “journalism”, asking questions, verifying facts, probing for details are daily habits of mine. And this is what I want to acquire most in Master of Journalism. That’s also what journalism originally attracts me.

Every elapsed day on the calendar is a finished scene of the whole opera, “My Hong Kong Melody”. And I really wish it a profound one.
