Elsie Lopez

My name is Elsie Lopez and I am a senior at Dominican University of California. I am currently a Business Major with a concentration in Management. Along with a major, I am double minoring in Communications & Media Studies and Leadership.

I chose Business and Communications because I am an energetic person with a lot of motivation to make a difference. I love being a leader and taking charge. I have a passion for coaching and encouraging others to better themselves. Instead of taking the easy way out, I love a challenge and push myself to face difficult situations where I know will make me a stronger person.

I have a deep love for sports, which I hope to one day share with the world. My dream is to have a career in the sports industry as a writer, reporter, or broadcaster. Whether I make it on tv or the radio, I just want my voice to be heard. I know that my knowledge for sports will get me far, my passion will get me farther, but my determination and motivations will put me on top. I strive to be the best I can be and settle for nothing less. I live my life based off my favorite quote by Babe Ruth, "Never Let the Fear of Striking Out, Keep You From Playing the Game."
