I like best to explore beer and its close friends, mead, braggot, and pyment. I'm a published author and homebrewer, and I blog about beer and brewing history at www.beautyinbeer.net. I look at history through the lens of the SCA, so European, before 1600 ACE.
Professionally, I work as a project manager (currently proposal manager), but I've got a pretty varied career. I'm most interested in education, particularly workforce transition and adult continual learning. In the way-back-before-times I've done things like drive city buses and lead Outward Bound wilderness courses. I love long bicycle rides, vibrant color, and exploring the new.
