By day, I'm a lawyer in the commercial litigation and insolvency sphere, and by night (and weekends) I make food.

Having completed a Bachelor of Media in 2005, I found myself some decade or so later looking to expand my expertise in media and communication and branch out beyond the legal world I found myself in. After extensive thought and research (read: "oh, that looks fun and I've had a couple glasses of wine!"), I enrolled in the Master of Communication with Deakin University.

Between work and study I try to find time to play with new flavours and foods and have branched out over the years from baking and cooking, to designing and executing elaborate dinner parties and curing and smoking my own meats and charcuteires.

I am an avid reader, a political tragic, and I spend far too much time on social media and news sites. Ultimately, on a personal level I would like to get my blog up and running so I can share my culinary adventures, and professionally, I'd like to bundle the varied and extensive expertise I have developed into a fulfilling career in... ummm... well, I'll work it out.
