I am working as an e-learning specialist at the University of Fort Hare in East London. I am employed in the Department of Public Health in the Faculty of Health Sciences where I train students and lecturers in implementing e-learning in their teaching practices. I further train and support lecturers and students to use Blackboard as their LSM platform. I completed my BSc, HED and other computer based certification before working as a Computer Applications teacher for 15 years in Johannesburg. Recently, my husband and I moved to East London. He is also employed at the UFH. We live in Gonubie and enjoy every minute of our new lives in the Eastern Cape. I also trained teachers to use the programmes in the MS Office package more effectively in their teaching. My interests range from photography to technology. I am also improving my physical activity by running Parkruns and other races. I enjoy a nice cup of coffee, red wine and pizzas with good friends. I have two children which are currently studying at the University of North West. I adore my family.

I decided to enroll in my Masters in Education in ICT to improve my skills in assisting students and lecturers in the e-learning environment.
